Academic Team

The Academic Team uses their knowledge in academic subjects to compete in academic bowls, in tournaments and on the computer. Practices are after school.

Art/Photography Club

Promotes interest in Visual Art and informs and introduces students to the diversity within Visual Art. A group of students interested in learning more at art, themselves and helping others and our community with aesthetic decisions.

Asian Culture
Club

The purpose of the Asian Culture Club is to promote and learn about the Asian culture. Club members are actively involved in activities such as teaching and learning Japanese and Chinese languages, creating Asian crafts like making kimonos and Chinese robes, preparing Asian food, etc.  All students at Po Hi are invited to join.  The club meets every Monday from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.  Membership dues are $5.00 per year.

An organization for students enrolled in marketing, fashion and management. The purpose is to enable students to enter the business world with confidence, be community leaders and develop socially.

Drama/Debate (National Forensic League)

Helps build self confidence, through vocal inflection, facial expression, voice control, acting skills, dialect training, knap training, and improvisation.

FCCLA

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is a career tech student organization.  Our activities focus on individual growth,  leadership development, family life, vocational preparation, and community involvement. We have monthly meetings, socials, and community service projects.

Fellowship of Christian Athletics (FCA)

Meetings are for athletics and anyone they may influence. It is a time of fellowship, inspiration and stimulation through Christian faith.

Foreign Language Club

The Foreign Language Club is a group that promotes the understanding of other world cultures. The club tries to include all of the foreign exchange students that are currently attending Po-Hi, so that other students can learn more about their countries and cultures. Activities primarily center on cultural events.

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

The Future Farmers of America is a club that allows students to learn about modern techniques in agriculture. The FFA students study everything from growing wheat to raising sheep.

Multi-Cultural Club

Multi-Cultural Club gives students an opportunity to explore and experience many different cultures from around the world through activities ranging from preparing ethnic foods to celebrating other nation’s holidays. The club also promotes multi-cultural awareness through various presentations, information sharing and activities throughout the school year.

OoKeeHee is a Ponca word that means "able to accomplish". The club's goals are to provide the members with voice, recognition and determination. These goals will help them to accomplish the raising of their education, economic and social standards.

Student Council

The Po-Hi Student Council is a student-oriented group that serves both the student body and the community. The council is involved in a variety of projects throughout the school year. Each homeroom is allowed one representative to the Council. Meetings are open to the entire student body, and non-members may participate in discussion. Only elected representatives or alternates may vote. Meetings are held by announcement.

Youth and Government

To enhance the development of the American democratic process by enabling young Americans to prepare for moral and political leadership by providing guidance, training and experience in the theory and practice of determining public policy.

Youth Traffic Court

Established by the city council, Youth Traffic Court promotes safe driving among Ponca City's high school students. The court presides much like the Municipal Court. Any student at Po-Hi that are under eighteen can take their citations to Youth Traffic Court. Students file for offices in the spring. Then the Student Council votes for the Youth Traffic Court officers for the following year.
